Supply Chain Management is seeking a Contract Coordinator to oversee and manage specific Purchased Services contracts, group purchasing organization (GPO) contracts and locally negotiated contracts and their renewals. Along with assigned contract oversight, the Contract Coordinator is assigned special projects by executive leadership and Supply Chain directors. Assigned special projects require evaluations of product and/or equipment, research, analyzing financial impacts, making recommendations and implementation. Special projects require formal presentations to executive leadership and stakeholders for final decisions. Additional responsibilities include being responsible for specific departments and their contractual needs that include contract analysis and applies drill-down methods to verify and validate contract optimization and opportunities, as well as conducting strategic vendor business reviews. The Contract Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the contract process, implementation, vendor relations and any additional contract needs and guidance. Directly responsible for working with Legal department in processing contracts and assisting with oversight of the daily Meditract notifications. Functions as a liaison between Supply Chain Management and Accounts Payables to ensure that match audit discrepancies are handled in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
- 5 years of work experience in material management
- Advanced computer skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Ability to take initiative, work with little supervision and solve problems independently
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to prioritize complex daily activities
- Highly effective communicator with exceptional relationship management skills to effectively execute strategic solutions with senior stakeholders and key suppliers
Your Job Responsibilities:
- Effectively serves on inter-hospital committees for product standardization and cost containment. Gathers financial and product performance references on potential new products. Performs analyses comparing incumbent versus proposed products. Proposes and offers viable conversion for evaluation as appropriate.
- Effectively manages complex supply/service projects in a timely manner. Financially analyzes alternative product lines and makes conversion recommendations to management. Works with affected users to evaluate alternatives and formulate team recommendations. If product changes are approved, works with affected users and supplier to fully convert the product line.
- Works with the Buyers and the Accounts Payable department to resolve match audit issues.
- Monitors Meditract notifications and Supply Chain Management expiring contracts to keep contracts current within the system.
- Reviews, updates and assigns contracts from the Supply Chain Management contract expiring log .
- Maintains contract documentation and ensures that computer system pricing is current.
- Administers and maintains local contracts in the Premier MySpend tool.
- Works Match Audit discrepancies within 0-15 business days.
- Works with internal customer departments and external suppliers to enforce MHS Materials Management policies.
- Interview sales persons promptly and courteously, ensuring good hospital image and supplier relations by maintaining prudent and ethical standards of behavior.
- Works to identify qualified ethnic minority vendors and include in bids whenever possible.
