A&A Organic Farms, Corp. a Watsonville, CA, based organic grower sales agent of organic fresh fruits and vegetables has an opening for an experienced Inside Produce Salesperson.

We are seeking a team member with produce/agricultural sales experience who is self-motivated & a team player to join our sales team. This a full-time inside sales position at our Watsonville office.

We have canine mascots who spend time with us in the office. Candidates should be comfortable working in an environment with dogs.

Responsibilities:

· Sell perishable produce inventory to new and existing wholesale clients. Develop repetitive customer purchase programs.

-Increase customer base by calling on new leads and potential customers.

· Process orders in office by scheduling trucking, tracking orders and follow up / coordinates paper flow with back-up personnel.

· Meet or exceed monthly gross sales quota.

· Provide customers with knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt service.

Requirements:

· MUST have a minimum of 2 years previous experience in an produce/agricultural sales office.

-Proven inside sales experience.

· Strong phone presence and experience making dozens of calls per day.

· Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel & Word, as well as basic computer skills.

-Thrive in a team environment.

Office hours are Monday thru Friday 6:30 am to 3:30 pm. *Occasional after-hour calls are necesssary.This is an office job that requires many hours of desk work with extensive computer and phone use.
