Shift Requirements
Day shift (M-F 6a-3p) or Night shift (M-F 6p-3a)
Position Summary
The Maintenance Lead is responsible for ensuring industrial maintenance and repair work is completed safely, effectively and in a timely manner. This person is responsible for directing and assisting team members with technical issues or advanced problems. This person is also responsible for implementing preventative maintenance processes, lead root cause investigations, and promote an inclusive and innovative team environment. The Maintenance Lead must work overtime, as required.
Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensure safety processes and procedures are followed in compliance with Menasha and Governmental policies; promote a safe work environment
• Lead work activities on assigned shift
• Exercise all elements of supervision, including assigning work, training and instructing technicians, and communicating employee concerns with Maintenance Manager
• Repair and troubleshoot production equipment
• Assist in the set-up and tear down of production lines
• Abide by Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) as identified in corporate quality documents
• Able to work mandatory and voluntary overtime, as needed
• Able to flex schedule to accommodate plant maintenance coverage, as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Essential to this Position

• Maintenance Lead - $36.50/hr - $44.00/hr
• 5 plus years of experience as Maintenance Technician or Electro-Mechanical Technician

Work Experience Required
Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired

• Knowledge of shrink wrap equipment, balers, heat tunnels, printers, glue machines, conveyors, carton sealers, stretch wrappers
• Maintenance planning and/or procurement experience
• Previous experience in a leadership role
• Knowledge of millwright tasks, such as rigging equipment for heavy lifts
• Knowledge of PLC and drive controllers, hydraulic, pneumatic, automated, and electrical systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, self-starter, problem-solver, results driven
• Able to multi-task and prioritize workload
• Able to effectively communicate and provide constructive criticism
• Able to effectively manage multiple projects, priorities, and tight deadlines
• Able to exercise independent judgment and work effectively in team environment
• Ensure continuous coverage for maintenance department in accordance with plant operational requirements

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to stand, bend, walk, and carry items weighing 50+ lbs. regularly

• Candidates will be required to pass aptitude testing through the local technical college to include the following tests: Reading Comprehension, Abstract Reasoning, Mechanical Reasoning, Space Relations, Numerical Ability, and Standard Timing Model.
