US Trades & Talent looking for Apprentice and Journeymen with 3,000 or more hours of VERIFIABLE field experience for a project in the Glendale area. Locals to Arizona preferred but travelers welcome. If you are a resident of Arizona or completes the requirements to become part of the local union if you choose to after the job is complete.

Here are the requirements and pay rates for the different levels:

Construction Wireman Level 3 (CW3): 3,000 hours of experience. Pay rate $19.53

Construction Wireman Level 4 (CW4): 5,000 hours of experience. Pay Rate $21.16

Construction Electrician Level 1 (CE1): 8,000 hours of experience or < 50% score on Journeyman Exam and placement by the CW/CE committee. Pay Rate $24.41

Construction Electrician Level 2 (CE2): 10,0000 hours of experience or 50-64% score on Journeyman Exam. Pay Rate $26.04

Construction Electrician Level 3 (CE3) : Over 10,000 hours of experience and 65-74% score on Journeyman Exam. Pay Rate $29.30

Journeyman Wireman-Non-Supervisory (JW-NS): Over 10,000 hours of experience and >75% score on Journeyman Exam and approval of the Local 640 CW/CE committee. Pay rate $32.55. This is the full JW scale but cannot supervise apprentices until completing the coursework required by Local 640 to advance to full JW.

All these classifications also receive Pension and Health & Welfare fringe benefits valued at around $7.75 per hour.

The project is currently working a 60/60/50 schedule. Six 10 hour days for two weeks, Five 10 hour days the third week and then repeated. There is incentive pay of $5.00 per hour up to 40 hours and $7.50 per hour for all hours over 40. To be eligible for the incentive the employee must work 90% of the available work hours that week. 54 hours for a 60 hour week, 45 hours for a 50 hour week. The work hours are 4:30 AM - 3:00 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch period.
