Job description

We are a small workshop building custom wood furniture. We are looking for assistance in 'finishing' the pieces, light assembly, and delivering them with additional staff.

Key responsibilities:

• delivery of pieces
• light assembly of pieces as they near completion
• applying the proper finish to piece (usually an oil/wax' blend
• wrapping items and preparing for shipment
• stay organized with orders and completed paperwork
• be courteous and open minded with other employees and customers
• support other departments when called on by management
• keep work area clean and organized
• always maintain safety in all operations
• be on time for the set shop hours

Position Requirements:

• ability to read, speak and communicate clearly
• ability to perform physically demanding work on a constant basis, including lifting 100 lb
• must be hardworking, team player.
• We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated and has a positive attitude
• general knowledge of power tools
• This position is entry level with significant room for growth
• 10 company paid holidays with days added with tenure

• mandatory drug, background and CORI check required
• Monday to Friday Schedule (weekend shifts are possible if desired)
• drivers license required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
