Summary: Responsible for the development, growth and sustainability of the company’s environmental, health and safety programs. Employee will perform managerial duties, administrative, field inspections and engage in a working relationship with site personal and staff. Employee will have an understanding of the policies and procedures of the department. Individual will institute programs to encourage employee accountability in the workplace and strive to offer a culture of health and safety by educating, training, and evaluating employees.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Manager of Health and Safety Department

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Preferably knowledgeable of OSHA, MSHA or DEC compliant items.
  • Outstanding Work Ethic

Education and Experience:
Six months - One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:
Valid Driver’s License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
