Required Qualifications:
- Safely operate a forklift
- 3 years of warehouse experience - management experience not required but is a plus
- High school degree or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliability to commute to Shakopee every day
- Ability to identify problems and accurately communicate them to management
Responsibilities:
- The materials supervisor will be responsible for the direct review and receiving all incoming product
- Conduct daily stock counts and reconcile discrepancies in system to maintain inventory control and reconciliation
- Utilize computer and ipad to manage accurate inventory
- Work closely with the purchasing team to ensure that deliveries are on schedule and getting checked in accordingly
- Pick materials for upcoming projects
- Assume responsibility for effective communication, coordination and working relationship between associates and management
- Leading by example to ensure that procedures are followed by warehouse staff
