Paramount Designs Inc is a locally owned and operated Landscape, Garden Center, and Flower Shop. We are continuing to grow and looking for team members who are dedicated to outstanding communication, high quality work, and excellent customer service.

We are currently looking for motivated individuals for full-time landscape construction team members and are willing to train for the position you want. Our company culture is teamwork and we are looking for teammates.

Knowledge and Capabilities:

Experience with proper pruning practices, including large shade trees, evergreens, and ornamental trees and shrubs.

Practical knowledge of use and maintenance for chainsaw, chipper, bucket truck and other equipment.

Knowledge of trees including identification, growth habits and correct arboriculture techniques for the trimming, pruning, repairing, maintaining and removing, as applicable to working close to energized conductors

• Performing ground, tree climbing, and aerial lift duties in support of specific job assignments, as directed by the Arborist Crew Leader
• _Safely performing all aspects of arboriculture, including:Tree identification

Tree risk assessments
Pruning
Removals
Cabling and bracing
Root collar excavations
Properly maintaining and operating tools and equipment (hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts)_

• Experience with proper pruning practices including large shade trees and ornamentals
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and have a working knowledge of each species’ characteristics
• Ability to climb without spurs
• Experience with tree care safety standards
• Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation
• Experience with aerial lifts (bucket truck)

-Some knowledge of arbor practices, i.e ., pruning, removals, , concrete work, etc is preferred but not required. We will train the right individuals.

-Some knowledge of pruning practices, i.e., planting, plant identification, lawn installation, etc is preferred but not required. We will train the the right individuals.

-Some knowledge of the operation of large equipment such as skid steers, excavators, front end loaders, etc is preferred but not required. We will train the right individuals.

-Some knowledge of the operation of small equipment such as demolition saws, compactors, mini skid steers, etc is preferred but not required. We will train the right individuals.

-Some knowledge of site work practices, i.e., demolition, grading, excavation, drainage, etc is preferred but not required. We will train the right individuals

-Must be able to lift and carry at minimum 50lbs.

-Have strong observation skills for identifying issues with properties and landscaping and the ability to communicate issues to team leaders and management .

-Be able to work as a team, communicate effectively, and take direction.

-Have a strong work ethic, work efficiently and manage time well.

-Be motivated, show initiative, and be willing to learn new tasks.

Responsibilities:

-Provide exceptional service and positive interactions with all clients

-Maintain, Clean, and organize vehicles, trailers and equipment.

-Have a valid MA drivers license

-Be able to get to work on time everyday Monday through Friday.

-Establish a positive rapport with coworkers and clients
