Job description
We are looking for a skilled Tool Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the fabrication, maintenance and repair of precision tools, jigs, fixtures and dies. The successful candidate will be able to read blueprints and schematics, have a good understanding of machining processes and be able to use a variety of tools and equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to work in a fast-paced environment and take on challenging projects.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses.
- Read blueprints and drawings to determine the dimensions of the parts to be made.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to inspect parts for accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Set up and adjust machines according to specifications.
- Perform quality control checks on finished products.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.30 - $26.85 per hour
