- Perform physical examinations, review medical histories, and create individualized, cost-effective treatment plans based on patients' individual needs
- Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques which provide a wide range of physical therapy treatments, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
- Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally.
- Ensure to monitor patients' progress throughout their treatment and adjust their treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals such as nurses, doctors, PTA occupational therapists and speech therapists.
- Providing education and support to patients and their families
- May need to supervise other physical therapists and provide mentorship and guidance to help them improve their skills.
- Maintain the records of patients and effectively document
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
- Holds a active NJ license in PT
- 5+ years of experience within PT
