Overview


Designs and implements VNS Health's strategic people and talent analytics and reporting function. Partners with Human Resources Business Partners and People Operations to develop data driven insights across all HR COEs, e.g., performance, engagement, acquisition, total rewards, and workforce planning. Works under general direction.


Responsibilities

  • Drives HR Analytics and Reporting Strategy.
  • Creates and supports the development of compelling workforce stories and actionable insights through HR business intelligence and data visualization.
  • Provides key data analytics and insights in support of workforce planning.
  • Develops a predictive analytics framework. This includes utilizing historical data to create models to identify employee life cycle patterns to help drive strategic decisions around key recruitment and retention initiatives.
  • Designs people metrics reporting and creates materials for HR Business Partners, the CPO, and Executive Leadership Team, identifying key trends behind people data.
  • Develops data-driven analysis to support strategic decision making for HR and business initiatives.
  • Supports the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance and delivery of HR Dashboards across all HR functions and business units. Ensures that dashboards are engaging and provide insightful and impactful data to their audiences.
  • Collaborates with HR team members to identify, standardize, and implement data and analytics solutions, including enhanced tools and process improvements. Works cross-functionally to ensure consistent data quality control measures are in place to maintain data integrity.
  • Develops standard people metrics and insights reports, such as monthly attrition reports and deeper retention analysis. Creates ad hoc reports upon request.
  • Conducts analyses to identify trends, determine the root cause of problems, and provide solutions to manage and drive effective business decisions.
  • Designs, develops, and creates complex dashboards, reports, presentations, and visual aids designed to educate, inform, and influence the decisions of HR, business leaders, and key business partners.
  • Supports advanced analytics efforts across workforce strategy, headcount activity, diversity, talent lifecycle, employee listening and productivity practice areas.
  • Partners with HRIT to ensure systems and data catalogs align with analytical and data reporting needs.

  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline required

Work Experience:
Minimum of three years of experience working in data analytics, visualization, business intelligence or analytical consulting required
Experience working with people analytics and workforce planning preferred
Proven ability to use data, analytics, and business knowledge to solve complex business problems required
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, ability to understand SQL coding, and hands on experience with one or more BI platforms / visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) required
Working knowledge of data privacy best-practices when working with sensitive employee data required
Experience with Workday or a comparable HRIS system, and an understanding of how to build reports and extract data required
