CareTeam Solutions is looking for an experienced Office Furniture Industry Interior Designer with potential to grow into Director Level!!
This is a Full-Time position that involves start to finish design development, drawing and project implementation for clients in the Corporate, Educational, Healthcare, Government and Hospitality markets.
Job Type: Full-time
Work with sales and project management teams to create workspaces per clients spec
Must have strong grasp and knowledge of furniture, space planning, colors, fabrics, architecture, etc
Responsibilities:
- Meet with client(s) with sales or alone to determine and implement appropriate design solution
- Utilize AutoCAD, CET Designer and Project Matrix to produce space plans, 3D renderings, elevations, FF&E specifications and install drawings that are to scale and meet code
- Prepare cost analysis and proposals for client approval and order entry
- Create proposal, project and client #’s in Team Design
- Create New CIS/CVS for each proposal
- Field measure each awarded project (before product is ordered)
- Wall, windows, door and columns
- Power location
- Interact with clients, architects, electricians, IT, contractors, subcontractors, designers and vendor reps
- Order product information and samples as needed
- Create presentations for client
- Boards, PowerPoint’s and binders
- Clean and update the design library
- Update computer software programs (AutoCad, Project Matrix, CET Designer, etc.)
- Maintain showroom layout
- Continual participation in product training for all manufacturers carried by BOI
- Work both independently in a self directed manner as well as collaboratively within a project team
- Attend weekly meetings with design and sales
- Check all of your work and be willing to check others
- Check install drawing board everyday to stay current with install drawings that are needed

Experience:
- Office Furniture Industry
- Proficient in AutoCad
- Office Furniture Interior Design: 2 years (Required)
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited school. (Preferred)
