The AFRL Sensors Directorate seeks to fill the position of a Security Specialist, DO-0080-02 for the Security and Intelligence Branch (AFRL/RYOY). This position is located at Wright-Patterson AFB OH. This position will be filled as a Security Specialist (0080) at the DO-02 level (GS-12/13 equivalent). Situational telework may be authorized for this position. PCS expense is authorized.
The AFRL Sensors Directorate seeks to fill the position of a Security Specialist, DO-0080-02 for the Security and Intelligence Branch (AFRL/RYOY). This position is located at Wright-Patterson AFB OH. This position will be filled as a Security Specialist (0080) at the DO-02 level (GS-12/13 equivalent). Situational telework may be authorized for this position. PCS expense is authorized.
Position duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provides Industrial, Information, Personnel, and Physical security program functions
- Implements and administers the Information Security Program for the Directorate, to include development of Security Classification Guides
- Implements and administers the Physical Security and Resource Protection Program for the Directorate, to include management of collateral spaces
- Implements and administers the Personnel Security Program for the Directorate
- Implements and administers the Industrial Security Program for the Directorate
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade DO-01/GS-11, or equivalent in other pay systems. Specialized experience is experience administering a variety of security problems, questions, or situations in industrial, information, OR physical security programs; experience planning and implementing at least one of the following specialized security programs: Operations security OR Program Protection Planning AND experience developing and administering security education and training to the workforce.

Maximum Telework Flexibilities: The duty location for this position is listed below, however, this position is eligible for maximum telework flexibilities. Telework options can be negotiated and implemented after entrance on duty.

Required Qualifications
- United States Citizenship
- Position will be filled using occupational series within the SECURITY career field. Applicant must be able to meet the OPM Qualification Standards of the position being filled. Office of Personnel Management Qualification Standards can be found at: General Schedule Qualification Standards (opm.gov).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET SCI security clearance.
- This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent will be subject to random testing.
- This position requires an OGE 450 Confidential Financial Disclosure (annually).
- Must have 52 weeks experience at the next lower grade (or equivalent) for consideration.
