Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a talented Application Programmer (Senior)
Department: Navy
Location: Remote (U.S. based only – see Note 3)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
U.S. Citizenship and a Secret Clearance Required.
- ABAP development and performance analysis, testing, issue analysis, triage, debugging, job scheduling, execution, monitoring, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with RFCs, defects management, workflow, and PI integration.
- Develop implementation experience in SAP modules such as SAP Financials and SAP Supply.

Required Skills and Experience
4+ years of technical and strategic experience of increasing responsibility providing software engineering, planning, design, analysis, and developing complex software models and applications across multiple hardware and software platforms.- Demonstrated the ability in the application of functional and technical expertise to improve the performance of the business; resolution of functional and technical integration issues across SAP modules.
- Experience in one or more of the following: ABAP, SAP BW, Fiori, Java, or .net.
- Strong professionalism, interpersonal, written/verbal communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Federal experience required (DoD experience preferred)
Professional Certifications
None required
Nice to have Skills/Certifications
3+ years of SAP experience
- Experience in post go-live production support and break/fix.
- Focus on customer service and responsiveness, with sound customer handling skills.
Formal Education
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Years of Professional Experience
10+ experience
Security Clearance Requirements
Possess a Secret Clearance or higher
Citizenship
U.S. Citizenship Required. NOTE: Cannot have dual citizenship.
