NEWLY CREATED POSITION

Premier Health Associates is the region’s largest primary care based, multi-specialty

medical group providing our communities with excellent patient care at 15 locations throughout Sussex, Warren and Pike Counties. This full-time position is being added to expand our team of top performers and will report to our Billing Manager.

Duties to include:

-Audit and ensure accuracy of charge capture, claims submission, follow-up, denials, and underpayment management

-Analyze and optimize A/R management and collections

-Assist Billing Office personnel with posting and denial management as needed

-Assist to monitor, educate and improve aspects of the front desk revenue cycle including insurance entry and verification, registration, authorizations, copay and balance collection

-Project work related in changing corporate, healthcare, legal environment, and others as needed

-Assist in development and implementation of corporate and office policy and procedures for revenue cycle management

-Manage corporate coding compliance audits

-Assist Billing workload, management, training, and planning as needed

Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, or a healthcare specific field preferred
  • CPC or equivalent certification preferred
  • 3 years’ experience working with healthcare insurance claims and working knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle required
  • Minimum 3 years auditing and/or revenue cycle experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Solid written and oral communications
  • Proven leadership skills and partnership skills
  • Ability to motivate and lead in a team-based environment
  • Resourcefulness, time-management, organization, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Adaptability to healthcare and practice changes in a dynamic environment
