Made In is building its first in-real-life brand experience and store on the famous South Congress Street in Austin, TX. As a Made In Sales Associate you will work underneath a store manager to foster a customer-centric in-store experience. You will become an expert on Made In's superior culinary products and help both professional chefs and home cooks make purchasing decisions that are right for them. You'll work closely with Made In's SVP of Marketing and founders on continuously developing the in-store look and feel over the lifetime of the store.

Hourly pay: $16-18/hour

Responsibilities will include:

• Providing best-in-class hospitality to the Made In professional and home cooks
• Execution towards sales goals while maintaining the customers' best interests
• An attention-to-detail and passion for tidiness to ensure an organized stock room and pleasurable in-store visual appeal
• Helps inventory maintenance to ensure a high in-stock rate
• Understanding of inventory counts and inventory management to help curb inventory loss
• Supports store team with receiving shipment and preparing product for floor placement
• Continuous product training and education on both core and new product launches

Qualifications:

• A passion and devotion to creating an incredible customer experience
• Ability to manage and function POS systems and retail IT
• A passion for cooking and the culinary world
• Honesty and personal values that align with the Made In ethos and values

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to walk up stairs, stock shelves, and stand for extended periods of time
• Able to lift up heavy cookware boxes and help customers with deliveries to their cars
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week
• Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), evenings and holidays as needed
