Are you a Regulatory Affairs expert with a passion for making a difference? Arxada, a pioneering leader in specialty chemicals and solutions, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Regulatory Affairs Manager to support our Home & Personal Care (HPC) segment, as well as our Professional Hygiene (PH) segment, of the Consumer Microbial Control (CMC) Business

You will provide expert guidance and support to our Home & Personal Care (HPC) segment, work closely with business leaders, regulatory agencies, and industry trade bodies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support the development and launch of new products.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide expert advice and guidance on regulatory and safety matters to support the HPC Business Team in compliance with regulatory requirements.

· Co-ordinate with HPC business leaders and Senior Regulatory Assurance leadership to ensure all products are appropriately prioritized, key goals are met on time and commercial / customer support is delivered.

· Manage the provision and interpretation of regulatory information to internal and external customers, exhibiting a strong commercial orientation.

· Maintain expertise in relevant North American regulations (e.g., FDA, Personal Care, Canada) and other jurisdictions as needed.

· Provide guidance and direction for responding to regulatory developments in NAM. Proactively monitor opportunities and threats arising from new regulations, regulatory changes, NGO initiatives or consumer trends. Communicate to the business (and specific functions, eg. QA and R&T, when relevant) implications of new developments. Manage external regulatory consulting services as needed.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, or related discipline (Masters preferred).
  • 5 years of experience and knowledge of the North American chemicals regulatory framework.
  • Experience with FDA pharmaceutical regulations, EPA FIFRA antimicrobials regulations, and allied regulations (TSCA, Crop Pesticide Products).
  • Technical understanding of chemistry, efficacy, toxicology, ecotoxicology, environmental fate, or risk assessment methodologies.
