We are hiring Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery in Lynwood, CA

AlliedUP Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse L&D to fill an opening with a hospital facility located in Lynwood, CA. The ideal candidates should have labor and delivery work experience, knowledgeable with EMR - Epic system.

Requirements of the Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate
• Current ACLS (AHA) certificate
• Current NRP certification
• Basic Fetal monitoring
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certificate preferred
• STABLE preferred
• Pass a Background check, medical test, skill test. drug test.

Pay Rate: $ 54.00 - 59.00 hourly rate

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

• Responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Birthplace.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. Provides for a safe environment for patients and visitors.
• Utilizes the chain of command when necessary to ensure patient well-being and appropriateness of care to newborns and mothers during the antepartum and postpartum periods.
• Available Shift - AM Shift and PM Shift, 12 hours per shift, 3x12
