How You'll Make a Difference:
The Quality Scheduler must be ready to work in our fast-paced office environment while also having the ability to work in multiple systems efficiently. The Quality Scheduler will be responsible for managing and coordinating the scheduling needs of the Quality Department. The Quality Scheduler is an allied health professional who, under the direction of the Quality Manager, performs various administrative duties to achieve targeted goals. This includes providing support for HEDIS quality initiatives and regulatory/contractual requirements, including outreach to members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducts telephone calls to members, providers, and other health care professionals and organizations in support of care initiatives
- Receives, proofreads, and verifies reporting from the health plan against internal systems for accuracy and completeness to appropriately schedule appointments
- Ability to utilize multiple systems simultaneously to schedule member visits. Expected number of appointments scheduled per week/month to be determined by Quality Manager based on current business needs
- Demonstrates proper communication with Quality team to ensure accurate scheduling procedures are being implemented to support the scheduling requirements
- Provides high quality customer service to both internal and external customers
- Works overtime or some Saturdays if necessary
Qualifications/Skills:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Medical Assistant Certification and or Certified Nurse Assistant
- 2+ years' experience in a healthcare environment
- Basic knowledge HCC’s and Medical Diagnosis
- Experience with verifying Eligibility and navigating through Insurance Portals
