Job Summary

The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Project Manager with overall management of ongoing and future projects. This includes management of ordering and receiving materials, and inventory and warehouse management.

Essential Duties

· Processes and issues purchase orders in ERP system

· Initiates quotes activity and expedites supplier responses

· Assists in determining effective pricing for purchases of assigned items or commodities through pricing analysis of current or previously purchased item prices or quotes

· Interfaces with suppliers and supplier representatives and evaluates their compatibility with Davis Kitchen & Tile’s requirements, goals and objectives

· Monitor and coordinate “returned material authorization” (RMA) activity to insure best possible corrective action

· Interfaces with other departments regarding delivery status, specifications, pricing, invoice discrepancies, quantity, or quality issues

· Maintains data and reports on assigned commodity/suppliers (performance, capacity, lead time, and price, as required by management)

· Tactful and mature demeanor with well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with diverse personalities

Qualifications

· Suggested for candidates to have experience in purchasing or construction

· An outgoing personality and ability to work with individuals

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
