The Purchaser/Buyer Agent coordinates activities involved in procuring goods/services such as materials, equipment, tools, parts, & supplies for the organization by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Assist Purchasing Manager in assuring proper inventory levels of all supplies.
• Responsible for purchase of supplies (harvesting, shipping, etc.).
• Create purchase orders in excel for vendors and enter purchase order information.
• Responsible for compiling and emailing weekly reporting log tracking receipt and usage of reusable plastic containers. Submit online CHEP pallet usage.
• Prepare InterCompany Transfer documents and arrange for transfers between Moorpark, Calexico, and Mexico. Work with Mexico personnel to maintain proper inventories for various Mexico growers.
• Update weekly inventory report to maintain adequate levels. Also update report at month-end.
• Track all Receiving and prepare weekly Receiving log for Accounting Department.
• Support Departments in procuring supplies for new products and supplies needing to meet new requirements.

Skills Required:

§ Organizational and time management skills – The ability to manage several projects at once and to prioritize tasks.

§ Excellent telephone skills and demonstrated proficiency in composing written communication.

§ Skill to assimilate and work effectively within the Company culture.

§ Fluency in both English and Spanish preferred.

§ Functional in Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point

§ Fluent in Famous Software preferred but not a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
