Job Title: OR Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced OR Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team in Moses Lake, WA. As an OR Technologist, you will be responsible for providing essential surgical services to patients under the supervision of surgeons and anesthesiologists. You will prepare equipment and instruments, set up the operating room, and assist surgeons during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Set up and prepare the operating room and equipment for surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures
• Maintain sterile conditions in the operating room
• Perform surgical instrument sterilization and storage
• Attend to patient needs during surgery
• Assist in patient positioning and transporting to the recovery room
• Monitor inventory of surgical supplies and equipment and order supplies as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Completion of an accredited OR Technologist program
• Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an OR Technologist
• Knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
