Experienced Ophthalmic Technician needed for busy, multi-specialty academic practice that is based out of Washington Heights, Mid-town East, and the Lincoln Center area.

Candidate must be willing to travel and this is a Full time position.

Minimum 2 years experience, certification is a plus. Must have well developed problem solving skills and ability to multi-task.

Must be proficient in most of these areas:

• Detailed history taking

• Knowledge of eye terminology and pharmacology

• Manual refractometry

• Auto lensometry

• Scribing

• Diagnostic testing (visual field, OCT, topography)

• Fluorescein Angiography/Fundus Photos (willing to train)

• Pupillary assessment

• Tonometry
