MEALS ON WHEELS - SITE MANAGER (HULL)

Part Time – 21 Hours per Week

(Monday – Friday)

9:00 a.m. - -1:00 p.m.

MEALS ON WHEELS PROGRAM: Site Manager needed in Hull to manage the elderly nutrition center. Responsibilities include management of the dining center, coordinating the delivery of meals to homebound elders. Plan programs, supervise volunteers and maintain project records. Volunteer supervision includes training, assigning routes, scheduling volunteers and maintaining a primary and back up list of volunteer drivers. Assist with the delivery of meals as needed.

Project records to include submitting accurate meal orders and recording of food temperatures.

Maintain a clean kitchen as outlined per agency policy as well as food containers and coolers. Maintain an inventory record and request replenishment of supplies as needed.

Should meal site provide a congregate meal, the Site Manager shall assist in the serving of meals and the collection of donations. Donations will need to be deposited at the designated SSES bank.

QUALIFICATIONS: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Able to deliver meals to homebound elders as needed. Experience with community-based programs helpful. Must have a valid MA driver’s license and provide own transportation.

SALARY: $18.39 hour
