PanCare Health is looking to hire an experienced Medical Assistant or LPN to join our team! This is a full-time position at our Medical Clinic in Freeport, FL.

Position Responsibilities:

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments by nursing standards.
• Assists in preparing equipment and aids the physician/nurse practitioner during patients' treatment, examination, and testing.
• Observes, records, and reports patients' condition and reaction to drugs and treatment to physicians/nurse practitioners.
• Maintains timely flow of patients.
• Greets patients and prepares them for physician/nurse practitioner examination.
• Screens patients for appropriate information. Instructs patients in the collection of samples and tests.
• Arranges for patient testing and information.
• Formulates and updates patient care plans. Order, prepare and inspects patients’ charts. Posts tests and examination results.
• Responsible for preparing exam rooms, including re-stocking of treatment areas.
• Participates in CLIA and OSHA compliance and monitoring.
• Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations.
• Monitors emergency kit and equipment as required.
• Monitors and maintains supplies and medications as appropriate.
• Completes referrals and other paperwork promptly.
• Maintains tracking of UDS required information.

Skills:

• Proven working experience as a medical assistant or LPN in a clinic setting
• Pediatric experience is a PLUS
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Social perceptiveness and service-oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills
