About the Team
The Workday M&A Program Management Team is responsible for supporting Partner and Customer Service Operations and Customer Programs. Workday is looking for a Manager, Program Management to provide tactical day-to-day operations support to our team of experiences M&A Program Managers,
customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

The MA&D team fulfill the critical role of key conduit and facilitator between the customer and the Workday services required to achieve seamless and efficient completion of their needs.
About the Role
The Manager entrusted with the support and development of their team of MA&D Program Managers has far reaching responsibilities, including
  • Maintaining and tracking skill and ability levels of all Program Managers, implementing a robust and comprehensive training program for each PM prioritizing their development in line with the needs of the business and their strengths
  • Creating, maintaining and promoting a positive work environment adherent to Workday cultural values focused on the employee experience by prioritizing professional development, understanding and meeting environmental needs and carrying out weekly 1:1s with team members
  • Maintain a holistic view of all in-flight programmes of work underway by team members, understanding their status, assisting in removing roadblocks and providing support where needed through to completion
  • Lead program governance and maintain key relationships with senior stakeholders within Workday, who are integral to the success of our support of customers' complex business changes. Teams can include but are not limited to Workday Legal, Security and Compliance, Privacy, Accounts Receivable, Subscriptions, Customer Success, Professional Services and Support at large
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress towards goals, team achievements, milestones and initiatives
  • Maintaining a positive and engaged relationship with Customer Care leadership to improve customer experience concerning cases which may be a shared responsibility across teams
  • Establish policies, operational procedures, and detailed process documentation as required to meet Workday security, best practice and contractual requirements with little to no supervision
  • Identify technical systems capabilities and enhancements required, and collaborate with Workday Business Technology with minimal supervision to ensure effective delivery
  • Lead enablement for MA&D Program Managers including communications, training, and support resources
  • Maintain the MA&D future roadmap of enhancements, programs of work and policy changes and communicate these to appropriate Workday leadership
  • Manage cross-functional project teams to ensure effective delivery of customer requirements
About You
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of demonstrated successful leadership in program management or delivery of Business Event support
Proven people leadership experience maintaining a productive, high performing team
Exceptional project management skills. Demonstrated working knowledge or one or more product management methodologies (LEAN, PMI, Agile)
Experience managing cross-functional teams and exemplary program management skills
Solid computer skills (Software Application, Case Management)
Experience in operational reporting, spreadsheet management and KPI tracking
Experience in Program Management tools and software
Prior experience managing complex technical projects
Nice to have
Bachelor's degree and 10+ years in PMO/program management leadership
Ability to train, coach and mentor to an exceptional degree of professionalism
Strength in relationship building and maintenance to facilitate expedient business outcomes
Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships within a team environment
Passion for customers and customer success
Develop employee training requirements to ensure staff is highly proficient with internal processes
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Ability to identify dependencies between complex programs/projects and determine impact
Problem solver capable of translating issues into simple terms to facilitate discussion and decision
Detail-oriented and able to keep track of high volumes of data effectively
Proven track record of successfully managing more than one project at a time and delivering outcomes on time

Workday Pay Transparency Statement
The base pay range for the primary location of this job is listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Base Pay Min to Max Range: $135,000 - $202,400
