Job description
The Laundry Attendant Driver works as part of the laundry team to sort, wash, dry, press, fold and store all linens associated with the company and make laundry deliveries and pickups.
Responsibilities
- Work as a team to complete daily tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Sort, wash, dry, press and fold Old Edwards linens and Old Edwards employee uniforms.
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the Laundry Manager.
- Drive and deliver items in the company box truck across property.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid NC drivers license. Passing the DOT physical exam is required to operate the box truck. Strong communication skills.
- Must have ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- The employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, often in a hot environment. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to fifty pounds.
