Qualifications:
Appropriate Ohio Teaching License in the following area: Intervention Specialist K-12- Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intensive
Principal
Assistant Principal
Director of Special Education
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment (paraprofessionals, general education teachers, related service providers, parents)
- Knowledge of the learning standards and experience providing a rigorous curriculum to develop skills across all areas of development
- Training on strategies to support language development, social skills and adaptive behavior
- Skills to analyze data and modify instruction to make progress in academic and behavioral skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
- Ability to use the ETR/IEP information to prepare and carry out clear, daily lesson plans individualized for each child
- Possess broad knowledge of special education and teaching proficiency
