Nichols Agency, LLC (a Shelter Insurance Agency) is currently seeking an Insurance Account Representative / Agent Trainee to market insurance and financial services for our offices located in Senatobia and Holly Springs, Mississippi. Job Responsibilities
As a Shelter Insurance Sales Professional, you will help grow the agency by engaging new prospects and building strong relationships with the community. You’ll work as a member of a sales team focused on providing insurance and financial products that help protect customers and meet their insurance needs.
Your specific duties will include:
· Be a team player to help grow the agency· Achieve sales goals through leads and referrals· Gain sufficient information from customers to provide quotes and transact new business and policy changes.· Have a current knowledge of policy coverages and basic underwriting procedures· Utilize internal software programs and maintain a thorough knowledge of Shelter's services· Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success Job Requirements
As an Insurance Account Representative / Agent Trainee, you must be highly organized and detail-oriented while also having a positive personality. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to interact in a knowledgeable and professional manner with customers and other Shelter departments.

Specific qualifications for the role include:
· Sales and/or Insurance related experience (preferred)· Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills· Strong computer skills, particularly MS Word, Excel, and Outlook· Solid time-management and multitasking abilities· Active property, casualty, and life/health insurance licensure in Tennessee and/or Mississippi
