Job description

We are seeking a highly-skilled and experienced Hvac Technician to join our team. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on heating and cooling systems, and repairing heating equipment when necessary. The successful applicant will also be responsible for regular inspections of the performance of the systems, verifying that they are in perfect working order. Responsibilities:

• Use a wide range of hand and power tools to perform tasks such as the following.
• Read blueprints or other instructions to determine equipment, parts, and repair material requirements.
• Perform inspections of equipment and parts to determine condition and needed repairs.
• Read and interpret blueprint, wiring diagram, or schematic diagram to determine proper placement of equipment, parts, or materials in maintenance or repair procedures.
• Be aware of health and safety regulations.
• Measure temperature of equipment parts with a calibrated temperature gauge.
• Inspect for inadequate airflow or blocked returns.
• Inspect for improper clearance (clearance should be 4in min-6in max). Provide solutions for fire working space, access for equipment replacement and space for ducts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
