Tree House is excited to announce the exciting opportunity of Groundskeeper, who will help maintain the grounds of our 9-hole golf course and Tewksbury, MA outdoor property. The right candidate will support our groundskeeping team to maintain a pristine landscape aesthetic and golf course playing conditions for our guests. This person will provide excellent guest perception and optimum working conditions by maintaining both beautiful and functional facilities. This position is full-time and will report into the Golf Superintendent.
As the Golf Course Grounds & Facilities Crew Member, you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining a manicured, clean and welcoming 9-hole golf course and surrounding outdoor areas on a year-round basis, with a particular focus on the landscaping.
• Maintaining the land around our Tewksbury property including mowing, snow removal, and hands on farm work like pruning, aerating, planting, weeding, mulching, edging, etc.
• Maintaining course accessibility and appearance using tools, landscaping equipment, and/or chemicals to perform activities required to provide healthy and high-quality playing conditions for guests.
• Scrubbing, cleaning, and painting both interior and exterior surfaces on a revolving schedule to protect their integrity and longevity.
• Assisting with all planting, fertilizing and chemical applications, and other care of turf, plants, shrubs and trees on the golf course and surrounding grounds.
• Assisting as needed on the day-to-day general maintenance of the building including interior/exterior of building, changing light bulbs, paint touch-ups, light plumbing, carpentry and electrical repairs, etc.
• Working alongside the Golf Superintendent and Lead Groundskeeper performing the maintenance and repair of golf course maintenance equipment and fleet.
• Weekend crew responsibilities and expectations with availability for Saturday and Sunday work required.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1-3 years of landscaping and property maintenance required.
• 1+ years of golf course maintenance preferred.
• At least 2 years experience operating a broad range of light equipment.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in Golf Course Maintenance/Turf Maintenance preferred.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communications skills and high degree of professional maturity.
• High standard of quality course conditions.
• Willing to work in all types of weather conditions.
• Dependable- willing to work early mornings and weekends.
