Eagle Brook Church is a multi-site church looking for a self-motivated and relational Generosity Engagement Manager to join our Generosity team located in Centerville, MN. This person will create engagement strategies to support and increase the generosity of attenders. This person will develop and maintain relationships with financial partners, as well as local and global faith-based organizations. This person will help create the vision for generosity initiatives and lead local and global efforts. A person skilled in building exceptional relationships, project management, and strategic thinking will thrive in this role. Generosity Engagement Manager // EAGLE BROOK CHURCH

POSITION SUMMARY

Cultivates a culture that elevates Eagle Brook’s value “Live Generously.” Develops relationships with financial partners and engagement opportunities to both support as well as increase the generosity of attenders. Oversees partnerships with local and global organizations outside the walls of our church. Supports the mission of Eagle Brook Church by cultivating relationships with financial partners, partnering cross-functionally with campus teams, and casting vision for churchwide generosity initiatives. Reports to the Generosity Director.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains a portfolio of 25-50 financial partner households giving at a certain threshold annually
  • Manages and implements strategies to grow the “Live Generously” value throughout Eagle Brook
  • Leads, develops, and supervises the Generosity Partnership Manager
  • Manages the application and review process for various generosity funds
  • Distributes funds in partnership with other staff members
  • Leads the thank you and communication process for engaging financial partner households giving at a certain threshold annually
  • Implements the vision for generosity initiatives, such as Make A Difference weekend and the Annual Generosity Challenge
  • Partners with cross functional teams to ensure generosity initiatives are planned and executed successfully by:
    • leading various task force efforts in the planning process
    • communicating the vision, in partnership with the Generosity Director
    • creating written communication
  • Maintains a portfolio and develops relationships with 10-15 partner organizations
  • Leads local and global initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of development or comparable work experience
  • Follower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook’s nine core beliefs
  • High level experience and proven skills in working within a large organization
  • Excellent communication skills; interpersonal, written and verbal
  • Strong relational skills
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

WORK SCHEDULE

Generally, Monday - Friday at the central office location with occasional night and weekend hours.

Classification: Exempt; Salaried // Status: Full-Time // Team: Generosity
