Financial Systems Manager
This position serves as the business lead and has deep functional understanding of the technical aspects of financial systems utilized within Finance including modern ERP and EPM Systems. This role will collaborate with our Technology Team to meet business objectives. Responsible for making time critical decisions on production support and resolution of day-to-day processing or business-related problems. Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with multiple internal and external business partners. This position also evaluates and analyzes current business processes for improvements and recommends ways to utilize current software to create efficiencies or accelerate the process of data analysis and reporting.
Position Responsibilities
- Experience providing analytical and technical support for Workday ERP including Accounting Center, Prism, Adaptive Planning, and other related applications.
- Serve as subject matter expert in Workday reporting (Dashboards, Scorecards, PRISM,
- Worklets, Trend, advanced, matrix, and composite reports) and integrations (Studio, Core Connectors, EIBS).
- Experience working in financial and reporting applications such as OFSAA, Essbase, and Microsoft Power Applications.
- Thorough knowledge of the capabilities of query and programming languages such as SQL, Python, Java and ETL tools such as Informatica, Oracle Warehouse Builder, and Workday Studio.
- Support the business intelligence applications by maintaining 100% integrity between the applications and that data in the source systems.
- Develops, implements, and maintains Finance systems including operations, maintenance, and security.
- Support production and non-production environments including integrations, patches, and product releases.
- Coordinate and perform testing for all corporate deployments that might impact supported Finance applications.
- Develop effective reporting and analysis of Finance data to enable operational/strategic decisions.
- Stay abreast of technology industry trends and best practices.
- Represent Finance on all system and operational committees and project teams, assuring data needs and requirements are supported and maintained.
- Support staff utilizing current applications and provide guidance and direction to business areas regarding the use of Finance systems.
- Select, motivate, retain, and develop high performing talent.
- Provide on-going feedback, coaching, and mentoring to team that will maximize overall performance and foster an environment the promotes continuous learning.
- Hands-on application configuration experience and must be comfortable analyzing data.
- Ability to manage relationships in a cross functional complex environment with business organizations to assist in the implementation of process improvements, automation, and continuous improvement projects.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities demanding rigorous attention to detail and high-level comprehensive solutions.
- Strong organizational skills.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or other relevant Technology degree
- 10 or more years Technical experience supporting and administrating Finance, Accounting, and Planning applications
- 8 years Administering and implementing industry standard financial systems
- 5 years Functional experience in ERP and EPM administration
- 5 years Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate with a variety of audiences effectively and clearly
- 5 years Project Management experience
- 5 years Leading complex projects and reporting
- 5 years Managing a team and developing talent with the ability to working proficiently with all skill levels of management and staff
8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday This position offers a hybrid work model that includes onsite and remote days as determined by the manager.
