Job Summary: The Emergency Medical Tech I-IV performs various technical duties and tasks which include assisting with direct and indirect treatment and care of patients.

Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities:

Performs EKGs, venipuncture (not applicable to the Emergency Department), IV skills, and bedside testing.

Provides emergency first aid treatment.

Responds to medical emergencies.

Performs basic patient care with consideration for age and developmental stage.

Transports patients by wheelchair or stretcher.

Notifies nurse of abnormal findings or changes in patient status.

Performs clerical functions.

Accesses and navigates through Epic.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.85 - $24.00 per hour
