ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for all areas of academics with commitment and understanding of the common core standards.
- Experience with professional Learning Communities, PLC.
- Plan a program of study that, as much as possible, meets the individual needs, interest and abilities of students.
- Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interest of the students.
- Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, projects and the like to communicate these objectives to students.
- Employ instructional methods and materials that are most appropriate for meeting state objectives.
- Work to establish and maintain open lines of communication with students and parents concerning both the broad academic and behavioral progress of all assigned students.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must hold a MA DESE Elementary, 1-6 educator license.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
