Job description
We are looking for an experienced dishwasher to join our large, fast-paced food service organization. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation while working independently and as part of a team. This position is a great fit for individuals seeking a fast-paced and physically demanding environment with opportunities for growth. We are seeking candidates who are familiar with handling a large volume of dishes and silverware, maintaining equipment and complex systems, sanitizing dishes, glassware, silverware and work surfaces, as well as keeping the facility clean and organized.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize dishes prior to washing.
- Operate the dish room machines to wash, dry, and sterilize dishes.
- Run the dish room machines according to manufacturer's directions.
- Fill food trays and heating thermoses in preparation for the serving of food.
- Respond to all housekeeping and customer service needs in the dishroom area.
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes before storing in cabinet.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
