We have a great opportunity for a Director of IT, Special Projects!
The Director of IT Special Projects is a business side strategy position responsible for the continued development, management, and deployment of core IT special projects within the Hospital Services Team. The role has a core focus on ensuring successful delivery of currently under way IT projects and future system and capability enhancements. The role reports to the Vice President of Strategy & Operations for Hospital Services, and has 3 direct reports focused on project management, requirements documentation, and requirements gathering. Additionally the role is responsible for liaising with Hospital Services Field Operations, National Leadership Organizations, IT development and support organizations, and other system and product owners.

Core Responsibilities:
- Clinical Documentation Product Owner:
- Management of product requirements and the backlog prioritization
- Engaging with DaVita internal IT organization to support Development and Release Planning
- Ownership of the entire project including ensuring complete and accurate Project Management
- Coordinate broader System Integration Operations:
- Working with IT to ensure appropriate adjacent systems are integrated and aligned with core HSG Systems
- Establishes needs and education for internal and external support of systems as needed
- Provide leadership and guidance to DaVita internal implementation team:
- Guide deployment team approach to engagement and education of field teams
- Ensure knowledge of systems and process is transferred to training team
- Provide support and guidance to other product owners within Hospital Services who support other products
- Establish and monitor HSG IT related Operational Policies and Procedures
- Responsible for development and communication of product capabilities and strategy to the broader organization
- Ensure partnership across the organization to ensure products are not built independent of other DaVita Systems
- Thought partner with Hospital Services Leadership on future IT strategy and roadmap

Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of product development and ownership, (in Healthcare preferred)
- Prior product deployment and management
- Project Management experience
- Requirements collection and documentation experience
- Advanced skills and proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word, and Outlook required
- Flexibility to meet changing priorities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Executive Communication
Travel:

Salary/ Wage Range
$110,100.00 - $161,700.00 / yearCompensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
