ReGenesis Health Care is seeking a Director of Behavioral Health to join our well established and growing practice in Spartanburg, SC. In this vital position you will provide leadership in all areas relating to the behavioral health department of ReGenesis Health Care, Inc. (RHC). You will be responsible for recommending and implementing behavioral health policies and procedures; supervising the behavioral health staff; insuring the continuous quality improvement program is administered in all behavioral health activities; and participating as an integral part of the clinical care and leadership team.

Excellent Salary up to $85,000 based on experience with excellent full time benefits.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• You will direct the behavioral health programs of the organization according to the guidelines established by the CMO.
• You will supervise the performance improvement activities of the health center that relate to the behavioral health program, to include the clinical care measures.
• You will establish an organizational baseline of integrated primary health and behavioral health capability.
• You will ensure the development, implementation and delivery of:
  • A formal communication process to inform about ongoing integration efforts at the system, team, and individual level.
  • A system that supports face-to-face and team meetings to discuss patient care.
  • An integrated model supporting where all patients have a treatment plan.
  • Identification and use of universal, population-based screening.
  • Maximization of billing to support the program.
  • Community relations to include robust referral networks and partnerships to support overall health of patients;
• You will produce a universal continuous quality improvement framework for integrated behavioral health programs that serves individuals and families with complex lives.
• You will have direct supervision of the behavioral health staff and allocates resources in order to carry out the health care program of ReGenesis Health Care, Inc.
• You will report to the Chief Medical Officer and works as a team member with other Chairs and Directors in the Organization.
• You will in partnership with the CMO, sets priorities and makes decisions on critical behavioral health programs, partnerships and issues.

Behavioral Counselor

• As a leader, maintains an active patient panel, providing face-to-face behavioral health care.
• You will maintain or exceed the same expectations of productivity and quality expected of supervisees during time not allotted for administrative duties.
• You will maintain direct care, to provide assessment of client needs, counseling and access to needed and appropriate services including treatment, rehabilitation and service linkage, case monitoring and client advocacy functions.
• You will maintain confidential records on client appointments, interactions and interventions and prepares related reports.
• You will participate in routine and special clinical supervision, staffing, consultations, training and related meetings and seminars; Attends interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss decisions for client plan of care.
• You will consult with representatives of other agencies or programs to coordinate client treatment services and case management services.
• You will enhance acumen and practical knowledge of quality initiatives through reading and participation in seminars, workshops.
• You must maintain appropriate licensure and participate in continuing education to perform the duties of a Behavioral Counselor in South Carolina.
