Job description
ColorTime, Los Angeles, California is looking for a Digital Media Operator. The Digital Media Operator is responsible for creating various file deliveries for TV shows and movies. They will also be responsible in delivering these files.
Responsibilities:
- Encoding files to various formats using different editorial and encode tools such as DaVinci Resolve, Elemental, Transkoder, Adobe Suite.
- Digital file transmission using Aspera Faspex and ASCP programs, Signiant, etc.
- File manipulation including renaming, renumbering, metadata information, etc.
- Knowledge of post-production workflow a plus.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Linux, Macintosh and Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of video and audio formats and containters such as ProRes, DNX, J2K, AES, MOV, MXF, TS.
- Must take a proactive approach and be a self-starter
- Ability to demonstrate initiative. Growth potential an asset
- Basic interpersonal skills, ability to interface with others, team player
- Must be punctual, dependable and able to work a flexible schedule to meet business requirements
- Must be detail oriented and accurate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- North Hollywood, CA 91601: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- DaVinci Resolve: 1 year (Preferred)
- Adobe Premiere: 1 year (Preferred)
