As a Cleanroom Technician, you will be working in a cleanroom environment performing specialized cleanings. This is a physically demanding position that involves frequent lifting, bending, reaching, and standing for long periods of time. Responsible for prescribed room cleaning in Manufacturing Process Areas and cleaning tasks in process areas per approved standard operating procedures (SOPs) . After completion of a three-month comprehensive on-the-job training period, you will be ready to contribute to the team’s overall goal of helping our customers ensure product and patient safety.

MUST HAVE A RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION

Shifts Available: 2nd shift (1pm-11:30pm) and 3rd shift (10pm-8:30am)

Wage: $21.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Location: Rensselaer, NY

Duties/Responsibilities:

Daily Tasks:

Must be able to wear additional gowning, be on your feet for extended periods of time, lift a maximum of approximately 30 lbs., raise arms overhead to clean windows using an extended pole and wall mate, empty receptacles and refill liners, mop large areas that require bending and reaching into small areas, bending to reach low areas to disinfect, safely use the chemicals needed to complete the tasks and other duties as assigned.

Monthly Tasks:

Must be able to raise arms to clean walls more than 10 ft. and must be able to wear and function with a respirator while completing tasks.

Annual Cleaning:

Must be able to use ladders that may be 20 ft. tall and overhead cleaning including the ceiling for extended periods.

Warehouse (Support):

Must be able to be on their feet for extended periods of time, lift a maximum of approximately 30 lbs., safely use a pallet jack to move cardboard and trash to balers, and must be able to lift overhead 30 lbs. bins and retrieve them from six high stacks.

Education and Experience:

High School diploma or GED preferred.

COVID-19 considerations:
Janitronics ensures the safety and chemical-use training and all protocols prescribed by OSHA and the CDC are followed when we provide our cleaning teams with proper PPE (personal protective equipment) and utilizing EPA registered surface disinfectants.

Experience:

• Microsoft Outlook: 1 year (Required)
