Cafe Attendant

Role and Responsibilities

The café attendant will perform a variety of duties in the Café to ensure an excellent customer experience.

• 
  Cooperate with all staff
• Make coffee/tea using equipment provided
• Bag/wrap purchased items/food orders
• Keep service counters clean and fully stocked
• Ensure that all food cabinets are stocked and tidy to deliver full service
• Inform manager of low stock levels
• Assist in the cleaning and clearing of tables
• Clean relevant service, preparation and storage areas using correct cleaning supplies
• Project a professional image to all internal and external customers ensuring correct grooming and maintaining the dress code
• Help expedite food from the kitchen and carry out large orders for guests
• Be friendly and approachable with a good customer attitude
• Personable and able to deal with customer queries and requests
• Greet customers with fast and friendly service

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Regularly required to handle food and hot beverages

Regularly required to stand, walk, talk and hear

Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment

Strong communication and time management skills

Customer satisfaction oriented

Attention to detail

Be able to reach and bend frequently lift up to 30 lbs

High School Degree or equivalent

Ability to work flexible schedules

Must have clean driving record and reliable transportation
