As our Business Planning Analyst, you will:

As our Business Planning Analyst, you will:
- Support S&OP Process through enhanced advanced data gathering, reporting, analytics, and dashboard automation
- Act as subject matter expert on Power BI, SQL and/or other languages
- Provide key insight and recommendations on the Demand Planning Forecast creation, S&OP Monthly cycles, and at S&OP meetings
- Lead report migration from Excel to Power BI visualizations, creating the link with the ERP system and/or the different data sources currently active
- Proactively work with the IT team to align to the protocols and guidance in the data visualization creations and systems interfaces
- Act as member of the S&OP process implementation team across all Lakeside Book Company
- Drive the optimization data tools adoption for the S&OP team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in discipline related to functional work/role with 5+ years of relevant work experience OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience
- Experience working on projects and/or implementations related to Supply Chain best practices, planning, capacity and demand management
- Experience analyzing large structured datasets and turning large volumes of data into impactful insights, supporting/resulting in strategic business decisions
- Working knowledge of SQL and/or other analytic language including experience with ERP, interface, tables, and query creation
- Experience in Power BI, Advanced Dashboards, & KPI visual tools (portfolio required)
- Proficiency in Power Point, Macros, Excel (advanced), and Visual Basic (preferred)
- Strong analytical mindset, problem solving skills, innovative thinking and ability to proactively and independently produce high-quality and detail-oriented work
- Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills with ability to explain complex data analyses to non-technical business audiences
- Comfortability and practice building relationships with and providing support to multiple stakeholders, at all levels of the organization
