Summary/Objective:
The Sales Representative will have the knowledge and skills required to market and sell to refineries, petrochemical clients. The Sales Representative is required to be a technically oriented, organized, highly motivated individual with strong communication skills. The Sales Representative will be responsible for maintaining & developing an existing client base and developing new opportunities. The Sales Representative ability to develop relationships with key decision makers and end users as well as make sales & technical presentations are essential ingredients for success.
Responsibilities:
- Actively manage and grow accounts in a large, pre-existing customer base as a sales account representative.
- Visit customers to understand their sales needs, provide real, practical solutions and deliver exceptional support.
- Initiate sales calls on marketing in-bound leads and follow-up on pending quotes to increase sales conversions.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospects and customers.
- Maintain a database of all calls and visits made to current and potential customers.
- Create and maintain customer files containing all relevant information on the customer needs and expectations.
- Resolve customer issues and concerns with a helpful attitude.
- Use your outside sales experience to prospect and develop new, exciting business relationships.
- Represent USADebusk as a brand known for on-time delivery, quality products and the best service in the industry.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1 - 3 years outside sales representative / sales account representative experience preferred.
- Industry knowledge preferred.
- A valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
- TWIC preferred (but not initially required). Will have to obtain if hired.
- Willing and able to travel from your home base for sales meetings and customer visits.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving and presentation skills are a must.
- Excellent verbal, written skills.
- Willing and able to travel for multi-days for training and sales initiatives.
Physical Requirements:
- Required to sit, talk, and hear.
- Must be able to operate a telephone and computer.
- Ability to lift to 15 pounds.
