Champaign Ford City is looking for apprentice auto technicians to join our growing commercial and fleet service operation!

Responsibilities include:

• Performing work specified on repair orders under the supervision of an experienced Senior Technician. Performing job duties as directed.
• Test-driving vehicles, and testing components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Learning to diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicating with the Fleet Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed, and time required to complete it.
• Executing repairs to manufacturer and dealership specifications.
