DirectViz Solutions is a high-level, strategic consulting services firm that meets mission IT needs for government clients. We have an opening for a full-time Access Management Team Lead. The work location will be Fort Huachuca in Sierra Vista, AZ. This position requires a Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance. The ideal candidate will possess experience in Physical and Traditional Security.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Manage a team of 18 employees, to include Access Management and Security Reception (24x7x365)
  • Take appropriate action, as necessary, to ensure proper handling of classified material in order to mitigate any possibility of breaches in security, policy, or procedures
  • Fill the role of the Security Coordinator, as directed by NETCOM
  • Support the Personnel Security, Industrial Security, Information Security, Operations Security and/or Physical Security aspects of the RCC-C
  • Support initiatives regarding the Operational Security (OPSEC) program to support annual reviews, address deficiencies, and support future initiatives
  • Work with DISS to address incoming personnel clearance status, visit access requests (VAR), and verify visiting personnel clearance status
  • Knowledge of the DoD 8140/8570.01 requirements for certification
  • Update and maintain the safe combos, door ciphers, X09/X10 PIN, and ICID/PIC codes
  • Understand and support the Role Based Access Control (RBAC) model for the RCC-C, to include all Civilian, Military, and Contract personnel
  • Support required organizational inspections (CCRI, CSSP, SCA-V, etc.), where physical and traditional security is evaluated
  • Effectively manage time and effort to ensure on-time completion of all assigned tasks. Support special projects as needed to achieve organizational goals and/or mission objectives
  • Monitor incidents and service requests using BMC Remedy ITSM and provide the requested support within established Service Level Targets (SLT)
  • Develop performance management initiatives to tackle individual and team performance issues
  • Maintaining and developing team documentation, guidelines, and processes (TTP's, SOP's, Checklists)
  • Monitor team performance and provide feedback, as necessary
  • Creating, maintaining, and updating team scheduling and on-call rotation, to ensure adequate coverage
  • Deliver timely and accurate reports to leadership, on or before the assigned suspense date
  • Participate in required reviews and meetings
  • Coordinate with external organizations such as 7th Signal Command (Theater), Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM), U.S. Army Cyber Command (USARCYBER) and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) as needed to support customer request


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • HS +4 years customer service or AA/AS +2 or BA/BS
  • IAT II certification (Security+CE, CCNA Security, SSCP) required
  • Physical Security (PSY) certification required within 180 days
  • Secret clearance or ability to obtain interim
  • Experience with Physical and Traditional Security practices
  • Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
  • Scheduling flexibility, to include nights, weekends and/or holidays, as needed
  • Occasional travel may be required for work or training purposes
