Abatement Laborer

An Abatement Laborer is responsible for various functions including, but not limited to:

• Perform Abatement activities in a safe and proper manner in accordance with safety procedures.
• Being familiar with OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Using hand tools and small equipment.
• Daily equipment checks and reporting.
• Provide an aggressive and pro-active approach to Client and Supervisor needs.
• Maintain a work area that presents a safe, organized, efficient, and clean environment.
• Clean work area of loose asbestos, mold, lead, etc. and dispose of it correctly.
• Responsible for keeping site and grounds clean and neat.

Aptitude/Abilities/Skills:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally with employees, external vendors, owners and general contractors.
• Must be familiar with or able to become familiar with applicable environmental and health & safety regulations and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Must pass pre-employment drug test & participate in random screenings.
• Must possess a valid State of Colorado Asbestos Certified Worker License.
• Lift a minimum of 50 plus pounds on a non-consistent basis.
• Walk long distances, up and down slopes, and outdoor terrain.
• Work in extreme (hot and cold) weather conditions safely.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.63 per hour

• Colorado Springs, CO: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:
