We are looking for a traveling Welder, who will operate in an Ames truck.
Travel 100% of the time. Locations include TX, KS, CO, WY, MT. Looking to be D 1.5 certified, if not we can train and test.

Basic Employment Requirements

Ø Be committed to work safely and to wear all of the required safety equipment.

Ø Report any unsafe conditions or acts to your immediate supervisor.

Ø Pass a Pre-employment Drug Screen and Alcohol Test.

Ø Be able to read and understand Safety and Employment requirements.

Ø Be dependable and consistent with regards to attendance and punctuality.

Ø Willing and able to work extended hours and possible nights and weekends as required.

Ø Tolerate temperature extremes and changing jobsite conditions (rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.)

Minimum Physical Requirements

Ø Have full range of motion with neck, back, hands, and exert muscle force repeatedly or continuously.

Ø Have vision at 20/40 with or without corrective lenses.

Ø Have ability to hear at a normal level with or without hearing devices.

Ø Be able to climb in/out of equipment without assistance.

Ø Be able to walk, bend and twist on uneven surfaces while maintaining sure-footedness and balance.

Ø Spend about 80% of shift on your feet, and able lift 50 pounds.

Ø Be able to wear eye, shield, ear and respiratory protection.

Essential Job Skills

Ø Weld during normal conditions, night conditions, adverse weather and emergency situations.

Ø Perform routine maintenance, and watch gauges, dials or other indicators to ensure working properly.

Ø Exercise good judgment about the safety and health of you and others.

Ø Operate controls necessary to move weld in a safe and productive manner.

Ø Be organized and able to execute verbal and written instructions.

Ø Be able to work with others and independently on assigned tasks.

Ø Maintain good housekeeping at all times in cab and surrounding areas.

Ø Accurately complete a daily time card and other paperwork as required.

Operate two-way radio while driving; if vehicle is required.
