ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a School Psychologist for a full-time contract position in Waukegan, IL. The position is for the upcoming school year 2023-2024, with a start date in August and will run until the end of the school year. The School Psychologist will be working with students in grades K-12 and will need to have prior school experience.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments of students to identify learning, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide counseling and intervention services to students in individual and group settings
• Participate in the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) process to provide interventions and support to students at risk of academic or behavioral difficulties
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed
• Participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and other school-related activities as needed

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
• Illinois state licensure as a School Psychologist
• Prior experience working in a school setting
• Knowledge of the MTS process and crisis intervention procedures
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
