Job description

We are a locally owned water delivery business seeking a part time delivery driver for approximately 30 hours per week. This position involves loading a delivery van with water bottles, delivering them to customer locations around the local area, picking up customer’s empty bottles, and recording deliveries and events in daily logs. Approximately 25 daily locations are delivered over the course of roughly 6 hours per day, Monday – Friday, starting at 9am. PTO provided. Work is performed in a comfortable delivery van with air conditioning and heating. Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspection, and check that inventory matches delivery requirements at the start of each day.
• Efficiently follow scheduled route via GPS, and ensure all scheduled deliveries are executed within the required time frame.
• Be alert, courteous, and cautious while driving and delivering.
• Unload full bottles out of the vehicle and retrieve empty bottles from customer locations.
• Document all deliveries and events in daily logs.
• Unload empty bottles and clear out vehicle at the end of shift.
• Be mindful of sanitary conditions at all times: Keep vehicle organized, clean, and tidy. Wear clean clothing in good repair and delivery gloves.
• Communicate with customers, managers, and, coworkers in a professional, friendly, responsive, and courteous manner.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old and legal to work in the US.
• Have a valid NV driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Have at least 1 year professional driving experience or 5 years non-professional driving experience within the last 7 years, and be comfortable driving and parking a large cargo van.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds comfortably, climb stairs with full bottle(s), and get in and out of a delivery vehicle repeatedly throughout the day.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
• Dependable and efficient, with excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work independently in the field.
