Waiter/Waitress Job Description:

We are looking to be open Mid May which is why we are looking for a waiter/waitress who will treat our guests with attentiveness, patience, a positive attitude, and a pleasurable dining experience. A good waiter/waitress should be able to ensure that our guests are fully satisfied by being friendly, courteous, accommodating, reliable, be a problem-solver and a team player with remarkable hard skills and engaging people skill and that could lead to $15-$25 and hour!!!

Responsibilities of a Waiter/Waitress:

• Greeting, seating, and escorting guests.
• Providing menu recommendations and additional information.
• Upselling additional products when appropriate.
• Checking ID's to prevent minors from ordering alcoholic beverages.
• Taking orders using software, order slips.
• Communicating order details to the kitchen staff.
• Delivering food and beverages in a timely fashion on a tray.
• Delivering checks and collecting bill payments.
• Cleaning and maintaining the appearance of tables and tableware.
• Providing exceptional customer experience.
• Handling cash and credit card transactions.

Waiter/Waitress Job Requirements:

• Must have prior experience as a waiter/waitress.
• Must showcase teamwork and communication skills.
• Must be able to handle money transactions responsibly.
• Must be able to multitask and act quickly.
• Must be flexible and ready to work in shifts.

Good Charlie's is The Woodlands area's newest oyster bar & seafood restaurant opening early May 2023. Located on FM1488 at Old Conroe Road ,just five miles west of I-45, guests will come from The Woodlands, Magnolia, Conroe, Spring and beyond.to enjoy char-grilled oysters, oysters on the half shell, shrimp, fish and more amazing meals along with great drinks and desserts.
With seating for over one hundred sixty. including a huge bar top, there is plenty of opportunity for staff to get great shifts, both days and evenings.
